NBI maintains and manages all of our own infrastructure. As a result we have
complete control over our network and all of the hardware and software which allows us to
provide any level of customization and to
respond to client requests at a moments notice.
Our network is
multi-homed, which means that we are connected to the internet through two completely separate
dedicated Internet circuits running BGP through two separate tier-1 providers to ensure
maximum uptime and the shortest ping times to major sites.
Our
power backup needs are handled by a stand-alone,
auto-failover 15KW generator, which makes us
completely independent of the electrical grid and municipal gas line infrastructure.
NBI runs a complete mirror of each server at our
secondary network operations center, and makes
daily backups of all client data and e-mail to ensure protection of our clients' online data.
All of our servers run enterprise class Linux and are assembled, configured and security hardened in-house by our staff, which means we have all the technical experience and access to respond to client requests as they arise.
NBI provides the following hosted services:- DNS Hosting: Once you register your domain, you will need to have a provider maintain the DNS entries for your web, email, database, chat and any other Internet service needs. Since we maintain our our name servers we can sub-net your domain at a moments notice and get new services up and running as soon as possible. Our primary and secondary nameservers are run from different network operations centers to ensure that your domain is always available.
- Web Hosting: NBI provides complete web hosting services for your online business. Our services include: simple brochure-ware websites; custom database applications; e-commerce systems; and integrated, content managed, online business systems.
- E-mail Hosting: We provide comprehensive domain e-mail hosting services. Each mailbox comes with a complete WebMail client, optional whitelist spam filtering, virus protection, and your choice of POP3, IMAP, POPSSL, or IMAPSSL access. Moreover, each client can easily administer all e-mail boxes with an easy to use Web-based control panel.
- Custom Database Hosting: If your business requires the development, hosting and maintenance of a custom database development project, NBI can provide a complete suite of services tailored to your specific needs.
- Custom and Dedicated Servers: NBI can assemble and configure custom servers for your online business solution; providing dedicated servers and fully managed service packages for your custom Internet business needs
